Our world

Transit Systems Group is a subsidiary of Kelsian Group Limited, Australia’s largest integrated multi-modal transport provider and tourism operator. Collectively, in 2023 Kelsian Group moved more than 333 million customers, has around 12,000 employees and operates approximately 5500 buses, 115 vessels and 24 light rail vehicles.

We provide innovative transport services in Western Australia (operating as Swan Transit, and Go West), New South Wales (Transit Systems NSW), South Australia (Torrens Transit), Northern Territory (Territory Transit) and Victoria (Transit Systems VIC). Internationally, the group operates urban bus services in the Transport for London (TfL) network (Tower Transit), and in Singapore (Tower Transit Singapore).

Transit Systems NSW is Sydney’s largest bus operator, delivering over 50 million trips annually across three metropolitan contract regions and 11 depots, including On Demand services. Through our Transit Academy NSW programs, we provide comprehensive training to develop skilled and confident bus drivers.

Territory Transit provides essential school bus services in the Katherine region, working closely with the Northern Territory Government and local communities. Grand Touring offers premium private coach, charter, and tour services across the region.

Torrens Transit connects Adelaide with extensive bus services across the East-West, North-South, and Outer North East contract areas. Since 2000, we’ve focused on optimizing routes, enhancing connectivity, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Transit Systems VIC connects Melbourne CBD with its eastern and western suburbs through public bus services, including Victoria's first hydrogen buses. We also operate Demand Responsive Transport services in Melton and offer a versatile charter fleet.

wa

Swan Transit operates 48% of Perth's urban bus network, alongside regional services, making it Western Australia’s largest bus operator. Go West leads in charter and tour transport for mining, education, tourism, and more. Horizons West specialises in bus hire and charters, connecting Curtin University and over 400 schools across Perth.

QLD

Transit Systems QLD operates Stradbroke Island Buses, providing seamless ferry and bus connections for the Stradbroke Island community and visitors on behalf of Translink.

Since 2013, Tower Transit UK has operated central London’s most popular bus routes under contract to Transport for London. Formerly part of a joint venture with RATP Dev London, the network delivered over 250 million passenger trips annually.

Tower Transit Singapore has grown significantly since its first contract in 2015, now operating close to 750 bus services across 7 depots. Known for inclusivity and customer focus, it has won numerous awards for workplace culture, employee engagement, and service excellence.

Tower Transit provides essential bus services in Jersey through Liberty Bus and in Guernsey through CT Plus. With a fleet of 120 buses and 240 employees, the network connects local commuters and visitors across the Channel Islands.

All Aboard America! Holdings, Inc. (AAAHI) operates across seven southwestern U.S. states, providing motorcoach services to corporate, government, education, resources, and tourism sectors. With 676 vehicles and over 1,400 employees, it is the fourth-largest motorcoach operator in the U.S.

moulding the next generation of drivers

As Australia’s leading public bus operator, we understand the importance of having a robust workforce. That’s why we have taken matters into our own hands, launching our very own Transit Academy to fast-track the pathway from trainee to driver. Transit Academy was launched in Sydney in 2024 and boasts a growing range of tailored courses that directly address the sophisticated requirements of the mass transit sector.
