Empowering Communities Through Collaboration OR Building a Better Future Together

At Transit Systems, we believe public transport is about more than just getting from A to B - it’s about supporting the communities we serve. Through formal partnerships with trusted not-for-profit organisations, we work to amplify important voices, raise awareness of key issues, and make a meaningful social impact.

By aligning with respected community groups and programs, we’re able to address local challenges, promote inclusion, and contribute to the overall well-being and connectivity of our communities. These collaborations reflect our ongoing commitment to building a more sustainable, equitable future — one that echoes the values of our customers, employees, and stakeholders.

Hidden Disabilities

Not all disabilities are visible – that's the message behind the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program, which raises awareness and fosters understanding for those with unseen conditions. At Transit Systems, we are proud to support this initiative by rolling out Hidden Disabilities training across our Australian operations, achieving 90% completion amongst the Transit Systems Victoria team. Our goal is to ensure that all our drivers are equipped to provide accessible and inclusive transport, helping to create a more accepting and understanding community across the country.

Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras

Transit Systems proudly celebrated the 46th Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival in 2024 with two vibrant pink buses, symbolising our commitment to inclusivity and diversity. Aligned with the theme 'Our Future,' the initiative reflects our dedication to fostering a supportive workplace and attracting the next generation of talent. We’re honoured to have Rainbow Families join our decorated buses in the iconic parade, celebrating love, unity, and progress.
