Torrens Transit Team raise $8,877 to support life-changing medical research
The Torrens Transit team has once again demonstrated the generosity, compassion and community spirit that defines our organisation, raising more than $8,877 for this year's Jeans for Genes campaign, including matched online donations.
Building on last year's impressive fundraising total of $4,976.50, the Torrens Transit team in SA embraced the opportunity to support a cause that makes a meaningful difference to Australian children and their families living with genetic conditions.
From pulling on their favourite pair of jeans and donating to participating in workplace fundraising activities and encouraging colleagues to get involved, employees across the business came together to drive an outstanding result.
Every dollar raised supports vital medical research into childhood genetic diseases, helping scientists improve diagnoses, develop new treatments and work towards finding cures. Most importantly, these funds provide hope for thousands of children and families across Australia.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to this year's campaign. Your support demonstrates that Torrens Transit is committed not only to connecting communities through public transport, but also to making a positive difference beyond the bus network.
Fundraising initiatives like Jeans for Genes are only made possible through the passion and generosity of our people. Once again, you've shown what we can achieve when we come together to support a cause that matters.
