New & Enhanced Bus Services on Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island)

WE CAN’T WAIT TO WELCOME YOU ON BOARD!

We’re thrilled to be operating with Translink’s new and enhanced bus services to make your island journey easier, more convenient, and more enjoyable.

Whether you’re a local heading into town or a visitor exploring the island’s stunning beaches and cultural attractions, these changes are designed with you in mind—and we can’t wait to welcome you on board.

What’s New?

ROUTE 881 EXTENDED TO DUNWICH

Route 881 now starts at One Mile ferry terminal, travels via Junner Street ferry terminal and the Quandamooka Arts and Culture Centre and continues all the way to Amity Point. This means a direct connection to ferries for Amity Point residents and easier access to Dunwich for visitors arriving on the Stradbroke Flyer.

MORE SERVICES ON ROUTE 880

We’ve added extra services to connect with earlier ferry arrivals and later departures, so you can make the most of your day. Plus, a seasonal timetable offers additional trips during school holidays, public holidays, and weekends—perfect for those busy times when everyone wants to experience the island. Please check the Translink online schedules to ensure you are up to date with the services provided across the Island.

Why You’ll Love It

• Better connections between ferry terminals and key destinations.

• More flexibility for visitors without needing a private car.

• Direct routes for locals traveling between Amity Point and Dunwich.

• Easy access to cultural highlights like the Quandamooka Arts and Culture Centre.
