Transit Systems Group continues to expand its services in Perth

Transit Systems Group (operating as Swan Transit), has retained the Marmion and Claremont Metropolitan Bus services contracts for another 10 years, and has been awarded an additional contract to provide services for Joondalup.

Commencing on 19 January 2020, more than 6.5M customers in Joondalup will start boarding with Transit Systems Group on Swan Transit services, joining 25M current passengers in the state.

The Joondalup contract will see the business transition over 300 employees, three depots and 170 buses into the Swan Transit network, which already includes 626 buses and 13 depots locally.

Transit Systems Group CEO Clint Feuerherdt added that the group prides itself on creating strong partnerships, delivering a world class service to customers, giving employees full time employment, and opportunities to nurture, and enjoy, long term careers.

“At Transit Systems Group, we pride ourselves in planning and operating a public transport bus system that is user-friendly, reliable and convenient.

“We are confident that we will continue to deliver best practice services across the state, and look forward to welcoming the Joondalup services and employees into our network.”
