Horizons West partners with Zero2hero to support WA youth

Horizons West has announced a new partnership with leading youth mental health charity zero2hero, showing a strong commitment to supporting the next generation of Western Australians.

Through the partnership, Horizons West will provide in-kind transport support valued at up to $16,000 each year, helping more young people get to Camp Hero, zero2hero’s leadership and mental health program that empowers young changemakers across WA.

The partnership reflects Horizons West’s broader focus on backing causes that matter, especially those supporting mental health, young people, and stronger communities.

“Supporting Zero2hero isn’t just about getting students to and from camp. It’s about backing a movement that saves lives,” said Dave Haoust, Transit Systems Managing Director, Resources and Tours. “We’re proud to help drive this incredible program and support the young heroes of tomorrow.”

Horizons West has also been named a Gold Partner of zero2hero’s 2025 In Your Head mental health forum, one of WA’s largest school-based mental health events.

General Manager James Turner said the partnership was a natural fit.

“As a parent and as a youth transport provider, their mission really hit home. Supporting Camp Hero means more young people can access the tools and connections that support their mental health.”
