Transit Systems NSW hosts spectacular Children’s Christmas Party

For nearly 2000 Sydneysiders, Christmas came seven weeks early. Transit Systems recently hosted a festive and colourful Children's Christmas Party at Fairfield Showground for its staff, extended family and 936 children last weekend.

The highlight of the day was Santa's unique appearance, who arrived at 11:30 am on a Harley Davidson motorcycle and made every child under 12 smile with a special Christmas present.

Various thrilling rides were available for all, making it a memorable day for children and adults alike. The exciting rides were the Paratrooper, Dodgem Cars, Bungee Jump, and Paw Patrol adventure.

Transit Systems also provided a complimentary lunch, refreshing drinks, and the sweet delights of three ice cream vans.

Jamie Sinclair, Transit Systems NSW Managing Director, said, "The Kid's Christmas Party is our opportunity to thank our team for their hard work throughout the year and their families for the support they provide behind the scenes."

"Following our recent expansion in Sydney, we are thrilled to host the largest turnout in our 10-year history in NSW, with nearly 2,000 people in attendance. It's a fantastic opportunity to connect with new team members, and the heartwarming sight of our staff and their families enjoying the festivities makes it even more special."

Transit Systems OCC Coordinator and parent Michael Bautista, who attended the event with his 12-year-old daughter, Kyla and his six-year-old son, Justin, also expressed his gratitude: "Thank you to Transit Systems for putting on a fantastic day. It's great for the kids, and it's also nice to have the day off and see your colleagues outside of work in such a fun casual setting." Michael said.

Kyla added, "The best part of the day so far was getting my present, but I also enjoyed going on the Crazy Flyer."  “I loved seeing Santa and getting my present. I’ve also had ice cream and I went on the blow-up obstacle truck twice – I loved that one!” said Justin.
