Transit Systems retains ISO Certifications in SA - sets industry leading benchmarks

Asset Management Systems, Quality Management Systems, Safety Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems are absolutely critical in safely and responsibly operating a global public transport company, and SA based Torrens Transit has successfully retained the independently audited ISO Certification for each of them.

The rigorous certification of ISO 55001, Asset Management, is now held by the operator in three states, which Clint Feuerherdt Group CEO of SeaLink Travel Group which owns Transit Systems, said very few bus operators have achieved.

“In addition, all of the recent certifications encompass Torrens Tranist’s newest operations in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, all within one year of commencing operations, evidencing the pursuit of quality service delivery.

Mr Feuerherdt said the achievement was a reflection of the commitment from the entire team.

“From our Chief of Operations and General Manager to our drivers, engineers and customer service staff, we have developed and deployed systems that support them in delivering the most reliable, safe, convenient and innovative service we can each day.

“We are incredibly proud of our team and the achievement in securing and retaining the highest industry standard of certification across the most critical parts of the business,” he said.

Part of what makes Transit Systems an exceptional leader in the transport space is that they have a local understanding of each city, combined with a global team committed to leveraging world-class operational experience, with successful networks across Australia, London and Singapore.

“We bring together the best minds in public transport with the latest technology, and a desire to operate locally, ensuring we are delivering a world-class experience to the communities we service,” he said.

Transit Systems and the wider SeaLink businesses continue to dominate across many areas of innovation, with hydrogen and electric assets already in operation.

“When we combine our high standard of management with our innovation intel, we have created a culture of excellence that we believe ultimately benefits our clients, their customers, communities, the environment and our industry.

“We passionately believe we can combine safe, reliable and convenient public transport with the most innovative and sustainable outcomes to ensure that our customers are enjoying a holistic service, from network access and integration, to a greener ride,” he said.
