Transport Minister Gladys Berejikian opens new depot at Smithfield

NSW Minister for Transport Gladys Berejiklian today officially opened the new Transit Systems $14 million state of the art bus depot at Smithfield in Sydney’s South West.

The facility will house approximately 80 buses and provide the base for 150 employees with Transit Systems now operating over 480,000 services annually from its three depots and carrying approximately 11 million passengers in the region.

Transit Systems is pleased to announce the introduction of new and improved timetables for routes 817 and 835 from Monday 28 April 2014.

Weekdays - additional late night trips introduced, departing from both Fairfield and Cabramatta to improve connection with rail services from the city. Route 815 trips extended on weekday mornings – starting 16/1/14

Early morning trips on route 815 operating to Cabramatta Station will now commence on Anderson Avenue at Pritchard Street.  Trips timetabled to start on Oliphant Street (at David Street) at:

05:34, 06:04, 06:36, 07:06, 07:36, 08:06, 09:04
