New bus timetables from Monday 22 September

 

As part of a major revamp of local bus services, new timetables will be introduced on a number of bus routes commencing Monday 22nd September.  Improvements include:

Routes 802, 803, 804, 806
New timetables to better reflect travel times and improve reliability.

Route 807

Ticket News - Changes to MyTrain and MyMulti tickets from 1 September 2014

Ticket changes from 1 September 2014

With the success of the Opal card roll out, a selection of existing tickets will be retired from 1 September 2014.

Fourteen types of tickets are being retired from 1 September 2014, which means customers will no longer be able to buy them from that date onward.  If you have bought any of these tickets prior to 1 September, they can continue to be used until expiry.

Latest Opal roll out hits South West Sydney

On Monday 14 July Opal will be switched on for customers catching Transit Systems buses across 80 suburbs including Liverpool, Bonnyrigg, Fairfield, Wetherill Park, Merrylands, Greystanes and Parramatta.
 
Minister for Transport Gladys Berejiklian said the latest Opal rollout comes as more than 360,000 Opal cards have now been issued and customers have taken 21 million journeys and more than 4.5 million free trips across trains, ferries and buses.

Route 816 trips extended from Sunday 1st June

Route 816 trips commencing from Cabramatta Station at 5.35pm (week days) and 5.52pm (weekends) have been extended from Cherokee Avenue to oeprate via the Greenfield Park loop, terminating on Mimosa Road, prior to Smithfield Road. This extension will standardise the operation of the route with all trips operating past Bonnyrigg Tway Station, now servicing all stops on Cherokee Avenue, Cheyenne Road, Sweethaven Road, Arrowhead Road, Powhatan Street and Mimosa Road.
