Introduction of Sixty Five (65) brand new air-conditioned low floor buses.
The first fully accessible large fleet bus network in New South Wales, improving access to public transport for all users.
All vehicles on public timetable services will air conditioned, allowing you to travel in comfort - no matter what the temperature may be.
New timetables commencing Sunday 20 October 2013.
Improved connectivity with rail services at Liverpool, Cabramatta, Fairfield, Guildford, Merrylands, Parramatta and Blacktown stations, increasing opportunities to access a greater range of destinations in Sydney via public transport
New links to emerging communities and additional services to increase capacity during peak times. Improvements include:
New route 800 operating between Fairfield and Blacktown via Prairiewood and Pemulwuy. Operating throughout the week with buses every 15 minutes during the peaks.
Polding Street turn up and go service. With the introduction of route 800 and in conjunction with route 817, customers travelling between Prairiewood and Fairfield will benefit from a bus service every 15 minutes throughout the day and even better during the peak periods.
Additional trips on route 810X. Extra trips are being introduced on route 810X (Pemulwuy and Parramatta) to improve this popular service. During peak times buses on routes 810X/811X will operate every 10 minutes between Pemulwuy and Parramatta. In addition, certain trips on the 810X will be extended to start and finish on Nijong Drive, Pemulwuy.
