Revised timetables on routes 820 and 821

From Monday 30 January, minor changes will be introduced to routes 820 and 821. Trips with changed departure times are shown below:

  • Route 820 – the 14:15 departure from Merrylands will operate three minutes earlier, with a new departure time of 14:12
  • Route 821 – the 14:32 departure from Long Street will operate 10 minutes earlier, with a new departure time of 14:22
  • Route 821 – the following trips will no longer commence from the Fairfield Rd bus stop at McCredie Rd: 07:52, 17:53, 18:14, 18:22, 18:46. These services will now commence on McCredie Rd opp Charles St (Bus stop no. 2161142).

Back to School 2017

Transit Systems school bus services will recommence on Monday 30 January.

Applications for student travel passes (School Opal) should be made as soon as practical to avoid the need to buying cash fares from the driver. Information about student travel passes can be found at https://apps.transport.nsw.gov.au/ssts/home or call the helpline on 131 500.

Students travelling on school or public buses must have a valid ticket for every trip. Ticketing options include School, Child or Youth Opal cards; otherwise a cash fare (from $1.30) must be purchased.

Christmas and Summer Holiday Timetables 2016/17

Transit Systems will operate services as per published timetables during the summer holidays with the following exceptions:

  • 25 – 27 December (inclusive) – Sunday timetables will operate
  • 31 December – Additional trips will operate on the T80
  • 1 – 2 January – Sunday timetables will operate
  • 26 January – Sunday timetables will operate
  • 30 January – School bus services recommence

New T80 Timetable - starting 26th November 2016

Route T80 will become Sydney’s first Rapid* route on Saturday 26th November, with a new ‘turn up and go’ timetable in operation throughout the week. Weekday frequencies will be every 10 minutes or better between 6am and 7pm in the peak direction, whilst services at the weekend will operate every 15 minutes.

Changes to the service include:

  • Additional trips during peak hours between Miller and Parramatta
  • Additional trips between Smithfield and Liverpool in the early morning
