New Timetables – Commencing Sunday 26 November 2017

 

New timetables will be introduced across the Transit Systems bus network from Sunday 26 November.  The changes coincide with Sydney Trains revised rail timetable, ensuring customers will maintain convenient connections between bus and rail wherever possible.

Changed Timetables Impacting School Trips – From Monday 27 November 2017

As part of the Sydney Trains rail timetable change many bus timetables will also be revised to maintain connections. Students and parents should use the TfNSW Trip Planner to check if services have changed for journeys to and from school. Transit Systems operates a limited number of services that divert from normal route paths to service schools, details of any changes to these services are shown below.

Transit Systems unveils new double decker buses

Sydney commuters will be seeing double this month, as Transit Systems launches two brand new double deck buses into service, catering to increased patronage growth in the Transport for NSW Contract 3 region.

These are the first of six new double deck buses, funded by the NSW Government, with the remainder of the new fleet to be delivered progressively over the next few months.

Double Deck Buses Introduced on Route T80


From Monday 9 October new double deck vehicles will commence operation on route T80. The vehicles are designed and built in Australia by Bustech, and provide low-floor access for those with limited mobility, and a seating capacity for 97 customers. We hope you enjoy using these vehicles and get the chance to use the upper deck, enjoying the views as you travel along the Transitway in comfort.

Coinciding with the double deck launch, additional weekday trips will also be introduced operating to Parramatta from Bonnyrigg at 06:17, 08:09 & 08:19. Also, trips in the evening from Parramatta at 17:23, 17:53, 18:08.
