Successful Contract Renewal
Swan Transit commenced operation of its retained Canning and Southern River Contracts on the 11th April, 2010. Swan Transit has been the operator of these contracts since privatisation in 1996. These contracts are long term for a period of 10 years and represent about 17% of the current Transperth bus contracts. The contracts include Management of the highly successful Circle Route for all three Perth operators.
Swan Transit was chosen as the successful contractor due to its commitment to provide quality and highly successful bus services. We are pleased that the PTA has recognised Swan Transit’s outstanding work over the past 14 years in Perth and provides ongoing proof of successful partnerships between Government and the Transit Systems Group.
