Transit Systems opens future proofed bus depot in Hoxton Park

Transit Systems, Australia’s largest privately owned public transport contractor, has opened a brand new depot at Hoxton Park, which will initially house 105 buses as the second strategic and purpose built facility since the company began operating in the Transport for NSW network in 2013.

Transit Systems, Australia’s largest privately owned public transport contractor, has today announced its intention to tender for the Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) Integrated Service Offering (ISO) operating contract in Newcastle.

Having built a market leading transportation business in Australia over the last two decades, Transit Systems CEO Clint Feuerherdt said the company has since benefited from the global experience gained by its International spin-off, Tower Transit.

10 New Buses for Darwin

Territory Transit has delivered on its commitment to renew its Darwin bus fleet, following the delivery of 10 new buses. 

The state of the art new buses will provide Territory Transit’s customers in Darwin with access to a fleet of modern low floor accessible vehicles. Low floor buses make it easier for all customers to board and alight vehicles, particularly those with mobility problems or parents with young children.
